PRIDE Montreal was a magnificent celebration of diversity and self-acceptance; it was Sexy Brilliant in every sense. The LGBTQ2+ community and their supporters are experts at delivering positive energy, generating excitement, and getting you to join the party. Remember, radical self-acceptance is for everyone, not just the LGBTQ2+ community.
Gay means happy, but there was a time in the not so distant past that gay meant marginalized, in the closet, and worst of all shame.
You may not be a member of the LGBTQ2+ community, but chances are, like every human you have negative self-talk that keeps you in a closet and stops you from being happy!
Imagine how liberating it must feel to be out of your head and participating in a world where you are celebrated, appreciated, and cherished for who you are, exactly as you are - regardless of how you identify yourself! The PRIDE Parade demonstrates that there are people from all walks of life who are unashamed and unapologetic, living as their divine selves; they are willing to challenge the old paradigm of secular thinking and usher in a new reality where unconditional love shines on those willing to love themselves unconditionally.
Hindus, Muslims, Christians, Buddhists, Jews, and many more from around the world came together for the annual PRIDE Montreal parade held in August 2019, to support and uplift each other and the universal right for every human being to be free, safe, and most importantly loved. This is remarkable! It illustrates the core (K.A.U.R.™️) of the Sexy Brilliant message.
Who do you represent?
What we can learn from PRIDE is that it is time to stop shaming our bodies, our desires, our need to love and be loved. We have the right to love ourselves! To be Sexy! To be Brilliant! In every way that feels good to us!
